President's Letter - August 2022
We are all leaders at the California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL) Recently, I was talking to a member of the California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL), and she said that she was not a leader because she was just a project manager in her organization.

CAHL Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Toolkit
CAHL is pleased to present the Diversity & Inclusion toolkit. CAHL's Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee (JEDI) is focused on sharing and promoting the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and disseminating best practices within the health care field.
This toolkit is a guide that can be utilized by healthcare leaders to incorporate diversity and inclusion principles or enhance current D&I programs at their respective organizations. This toolkit is not intended to replace or serve as an organization’s D&I plan but rather to assist leaders in developing or evolving their own D&I plans.
Lastly, the guidance in this toolkit was derived from best practices from local healthcare institutions and is not a comprehensive list of healthcare industry best practices

In continuing to enhance the support for our California Chapters, ACHE has made some key organizational changes.
Jennifer Connelly will join the Executive Office team and focus primarily on supporting Regents. Jennifer’s new title is Vice President, Volunteer Relations. To strengthen the chapter operations, Regional Services will now become Chapter Relations and remain in Executive Engagement, reporting to Anita Halverson. Stacey Kidd has been promoted to Director, Chapter Relations, and will serve as the primary lead between chapter leaders and the national office.
Congratulations to Jennifer Connelly and Stacey Kidd and we look forward to working with you to enhance our services to the members of the chapter.
