CAHL Volunteer Committees

Advancement Committee:

The Advancement Committee supports eligible members in advancing to Fellow in ACHE and promotes advancement information to members by developing resources and offering workshops.

Career Development & Transition:

The Career Development and Transition Committee provides career development programs, support and resources for members at all levels of their career.

Clinical Leadership:

The Clinical Leadership Committee strives to increase Clinical Leader membership and participation by adding value and educational programs for our CAHL clinical members.

Communications:

The Communication Committee ensures members are informed and connected to important CAHL information through avenues such as newsletters, the chapter’s website and social media.

Diversity and Inclusion:

The Diversity and Inclusion Committee supports CAHL’s commitment to diversity and multiculturalism by developing programs and providing education.

Finance:

The Finance Committee provides direction, review, and control over the chapter’s finances.

Higher Education Network:

The Higher Education Network (HEN) promotes student engagement and membership in CAHL by providing student resources and organizing student targeted events.

Mentorship:

The Mentorship Committee strives to support the professional development of healthcare professionals and in advancing the CAHL mission of fostering lifelong learning and growth of our members through mentorship.

Military Outreach:

The Military Outreach Committee promotes military and veteran engagement in the local chapter by supporting military members, conducting outreach, and hosting events specifically for military members.

Local Programming Council:

The Local Programming Councils facilitate educational and networking sessions for members in the chapter.

Sponsorship:

The Sponsorship Committee secures financial or in-kind support for CAHL events and is responsible for increasing exposure of the CAHL chapter.

Volunteer Recognition & Member Outreach:

The Volunteer Recognition & Member Outreach Committee oversees the chapter’s volunteer program, and targets member engagement and renewal.
