California Pride at Work: Belonging, Leadership, and Psychological Safety in Healthcare
This Pride Month, we celebrate the importance of creating workplaces where everyone feels they belong. True inclusion goes beyond policies—it means fostering psychological safety so employees feel respected, supported, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.
When people feel safe and included, teamwork, wellbeing, and patient care all improve. By leading with empathy, curiosity, and respect, we can build a healthcare culture where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.

Asking Insightful Questions in Healthcare Interviews
Healthcare interviews are more than an opportunity to answer questions—they are an opportunity to demonstrate leadership through thoughtful inquiry. The questions candidates ask reveal their ability to think strategically, understand complex healthcare systems, and connect their role to patient outcomes. Candidates who ask insightful questions about quality, safety, workforce well-being, organizational priorities, and continuous improvement demonstrate curiosity, systems thinking, and readiness to lead. By preparing meaningful questions with the same intention as interview responses, healthcare professionals can showcase their leadership potential while ensuring the organization is the right fit for their own professional growth.
