Participating in the CAHL Formal Mentor Program was a highly rewarding and transformative experience. The program provided meaningful opportunities to engage with experienced healthcare leaders, expand my professional network, and gain valuable leadership perspectives. I was matched exceptionally well with my mentor, which created a strong foundation for meaningful conversations, honest feedback, professional growth, and a long-lasting friendship.
What has been your most valuable takeaway or learning from the experience?
The importance of having a trusted leader who is invested in your growth. Being thoughtfully matched with my mentor allowed me to gain insights that were directly relevant to my leadership journey and career aspirations. The program reinforced that successful leaders continuously seek feedback, remain open to learning, and invest in mentoring others as they advance in their careers.
