The California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL) Scholarship

We are now accepting applications for 2024 Scholarship.  Please review the eligibility criteria below and submit your application today!

Undergraduate-Level Students

The California Association of Healthcare Leaders (CAHL) is an independent chapter for the Northern and Central California Region, chartered by the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).

The $500 scholarship is awarded to a student who meets the eligibility and selection criteria. The scholarship winners will be selected in December and recognized in the CAHL Winter Newsletter.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Currently enrolled in undergraduate-level health-related studies i.e. health care services, public health, health care policy and research, health care management and administration, nursing, medicine, health technology, health law, etc.
  • Applicants MUST have completed one semester or quarter with  grades
  • Must be a resident enrolled in a graduate degree program at a University located in Northern and Central California
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Must be an active student enrolled in school
  • Must be an ACHE CAHL Member (student associate or full member status)

Documents to be submitted:

  1. A completed Scholarship Application Form. See below
  2. Current resume
  3. Current unofficial transcript ( MUST have completed 1 semester or quarter grades)
  4. One academic/professional reference letter
