CELEBRATION AND RECOGNITION
Native American Heritage Month
By Teniola Adegbite and Kimberly Browne | Native American and Alaska Native Heritage Month, celebrated every November, honors the resilience, cultural richness, and enduring contributions of Indigenous communities. It also brings critical attention to the deep health inequities these communities continue to face due to historical trauma and systemic barriers. This month serves as both a celebration and a call to action to advance representation, culturally grounded care, and health equity.
