2024 CAHL Annual Award Winners

Congratulations to all the 2024 honorees, who set the example for what it means to be a catalyzer within our field, a connector within our professional community, and a trusted partner supporting others in their careers.

The Regent’s Awards

The annual Regent’s Awards are an opportunity to recognize outstanding healthcare executive leadership amongst our members in Northern and Central California. The Regent’s Awards recognize exemplary leadership of both Early Careerist and Senior Executive healthcare leaders.

The Regent’s Advisory Council plays a key role in identifying nominees and in selecting the award winners each year. Thank you to our RAC members for the time they invest in this process.

The awards criteria align with the mission of ACHE and its expectations from its members. The Early Career and Senior Executive awards focus on:

  • Innovative and creative management
  • Living and modeling ACHE’s Code of Ethics
  • Leadership and advocacy to enhance and sustain Diversity, Inclusion & Equity
  • Leadership in developing their healthcare organization and promoting its growth and stature in the community
  • Participation and leadership in ACHE activities

The DEI Leadership Award celebrates an ACHE member who:

  • Promotes diversity, inclusion and cultural competency development
  • Addresses key areas of diversity and inclusion such as recruitment, retention, climate, research, clinical practice or community outreach
  • Leads initiatives in capturing outcomes of increased awareness, understanding or promoting diversity
  • Implements steps toward fostering diversity in the workplace

All ACHE members are eligible for the early careerist awards and DEI award. To be a candidate for senior executive awards, a member also

  • Must achieve and maintain ACHE Fellow status,
  • Must currently serve in a C-level executive role or equivalent senior level position within their organization,
  • Must demonstrate leadership in local and state healthcare associations,
  • And must contribute to the development of leaders in the healthcare profession.
