Robyn Ply, MHA is a volunteer with the Career Transition and Development Committee and the Mentorship program.
Please tell us a little bit about what you’ve been doing as a volunteer, and why you chose to take that particular role.
I am currently the Mentee Liaison Lead for the Mentor program, and starting in January, I will be taking over the Vice Chair role for the Career Transition and Development Committee. I enjoy connecting with people and helping them along their career journey. It’s a great feeling to know you have helped make a positive impact on someone’s career.
Could you share a “CAHL Moment” with us?
One of my favorite CAHL moments, happened this year at the awards ceremony. I was able to meet so many people from the CAHL committees face to face, it was amazing. Through volunteering, I have been able to cultivate a network of amazing people, who provide me with support, guidance, and encouragement, pushing me to do and be my best.
Could you fill in this blank? “I’m open to being a resource to CAHL members if they need ________.”
Anything! I’m here to help in any way I can.
